Ice slides were built and riders had to climb long sets of stairs for a bumpy twenty second ride. When these amusement devices became popular throughout Europe in the next century, they were still called Russian Mountains. Even back then, the public demanded more and more thrills and the rides became more and more dangerous. Accidents became more common, and by , the world had nearly given up on roller coasters. Improvements kindled a little interest, but even so, by , the fastest roller coaster went barely 12 miles an hour.

It took me until the end of the first drop to realize something was up. The train was rattling, sure, but I had almost no headbanging! I then realized that I could just enjoy the layout for what it is, and was pleasantly surprised by a great and thrilling layout which highlighted the speed of the trains and the intensity of the inversions.
Aside from the rattle, which was noticeable but not to the level that I had been told, there were very few things wrong with the ride. Especially since I had been told that this was one of the worst SLCs, this thoroughly exceeded my expectations. Actually, my biggest gripe with the ride is that the rubber from the restraints rubbed off onto my hands and arms, and I had to do a thorough hand washing to get it off.
Headbanging Harness Discomfort. It is awful. How is this possible? How did it continue happening? Its baffling. Did vekoma start out as a torture device company and stumble into amusement park rides accidently? Stupid ride. Layout Headbanging Discomfort. This ride is bad. It's extraordinarily rough. It feels like it's falling apart. It's a thoroughly unpleasant experience. That said, the layout on SLC's is pretty good, and keeps up some nice intensity. Headbanging Discomfort.
Inversions Intensity Harness. It's a bit rough and shows its age, but it's an intense ride with a lot of interesting inversions and a wild footchopper off of the heart-shaped roll. This is considered one of the worst SLCs? I thought it was decent in spite of the bulky restraints. Inversions Pace Harness Headbanging Too short.
