Where is anzu

If you have a Frost Mage in your party, have them freeze the bird flock to help avoid harm to your party members. Anzu will unbanish after 1 minute or when all birds are dead — whichever comes first.

If it seems likely that the birds aren't going to die in one minute, the tank needs to pick up Anzu while the rest of the group finishes the birds off. Generally, you'll want to keep Hawk Spirit up as much as possible, Eagle during phase 2, and Falcon if you have spare time the haste effect significantly increases the group's DPS, making the fight less time and mana consuming.

While Regrowth is longer, Rejuvenation is instant cast — either may be used depending on the situation. The following macros enable you to cast Rejuvenation on a specific spirit without having to target it directly:. Using macros such as the above will make this fight a lot easier than manual targeting. Manual targeting of the spirits becomes very difficult once the bird flock arrives due to the number of mobs on screen.

After the second, and last, wave of birds you may find the best way to finish the fight is to DPS Anzu down quickly. From the darkest night shall rise again the raven, shall take flight in the shadows, shall reveal the nature of its kind. Prepare yourself for its coming, for the faithful shall be elevated to take flight with the raven, the rest be forgotten to walk upon the ground, clipped wings and shame.

Steel your minds and guard your thoughts. The dark wings will cloud and consume the minds of the weak, a flock of thralls whose feet may never leave the ground. The old blood will flow once again with the coming of the raven, the return of the darkness in the skies. Scarlet night, and the rise of the old. The raven was struck down once for flying too high, unready. The eons have prepared the Dark Watcher for its ascent, to draw the dark cloak across the horizon.

About the spell bomb We wiped once and the next try we did it It was abit hard for the paladin to keep the mage alive but he managed to do it. He used 1 mana potion. After the first wipe we had a general idea of the boss and it was peace of cake. Comment by Thottbot Is there a specific room where Anzu spawns or should spawn? Comment by Thottbot he is in the room before the last boss' room Comment by Thottbot Thought this fight was going to be hard Didn't bother with the spirit birds just tank and spank.

Phase 2 is nice and easy with the summon birds, they don't attack hard at all. Dps them down as quick as you can and you'll be right. Comment by Thottbot Did him on first attempt with resto druid, hunter, lock, holy pala and prot pala. This was our first heroic sethekk attempt too. Key is to keep birds alive and watch the debuff. Good luck to everyone and happy faaaast flying :.

Comment by Thottbot k iz the only way 2 fight him or summon him iz by a druid? Comment by Thottbot im starting to play wow again. Comment by Thottbot Pretty easy boss fight to be honest; havn't wiped in any of my encounters with Anzu. As the only druid in the party, as well as being the tank, I managed to get the HoTs up on the Bird Spirits during the banish phases with no problem.

Theres a good second buffer between banishment and the AoE mobs, so I recommend making a macro to get all the buffs for the birds so they go down quickly. But honestly its not a hard fight at all. Comment by Thottbot can only druids summon this boss?

Comment by Thottbot Real easy. The spell bomb is a curse, so you can decurse it. I am feral, but I put my healing set, and all I did was cast rejuv rank 1 on them in chain, sometime casting a heal on others if the tank had a lil problem or in the stun. Our healer Pally didn't even lost more then 3k mana Bomb doesn't seam to go if oyu decurse yourself.

At least I didn'T notice my mana going down from my decurse. Comment by Thottbot This guy is cake. I had been reading up on the forums and here about how you need at least 2 healers and a druid to keep the HOTs up the whole fight. I was the only druid in the group and I was tanking I do have armor and the only time i threw a hot on anything was when he was banished and that was on the eagle to help out cause we only had a warlock for AOE and this took care of all the adds by the time Anzu became unbanished.

All you have to remember is to explain to your group that if they have the debuff Spell Bomb, do not cast anything, and you shouldnt have any problems.

Our group composition was Druid Tank me Shaman Healer Shadow Priest didnt need to help heal anyone during the fight Warlock Rogue Hope some of this helps you guys out, cause I know I was under the impression that we would have to have another druid in the group to keep the HOTs up on the bird. Comment by Thottbot A druid that sumoned him but had to leave gave me tha instance save and it's doable without a druid, more dificult than average heroic bosses but still doable.

Just heal the tank before the stun and kill the birds fast ;. Comment by Thottbot Very easy fight for a resto druid. Most important thing to do is cast rank 1 regrowth on the bird allies that spawn. The buffs the bird allies give you are huge and it hugely reduces the amount of damage the boss and does and his adds do. Just make sure to keep those bird allies active and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Comment by Thottbot Just tanked this on my protection paladin. Wasnt too hard rly. I choosed my group carefully, a mage dont know the spec, a feral druid, a holy priest, a affliction lock and me then ofcorse. Mob groups was very easy with this group.

Anyway when we were about to encounter Anzu the druid explained the tactic. We still managed to make this. As a protection paladin. Concecrate right after Anzy banishes, the dont hit hard and are easily killed. Aoe those. Anzus AoE fear is however nasty. Healer might have some problems to keep the tank alive.

When you get to the birds, the tank doesn't need to stay in bear form; you can pop and R1 regrowth the Eagle and Hawk, and have everyone just fight on the eagle. With the hawk and the damage up, the birds are a joke and die, though slower than if you had AOE. Then when Anzu pops back up, kill him. The fight is designed so that a single druid of any spec can do it with their party, you just have to actually HOT the statues.

Use Regrowth since it lasts longer than rejuv. Comment by Thottbot Took us three tries. Second try the Shadow Priest took herself out by casting with the debuff, and we ran out of mana on 2nd wave Third try, everybody did the right things and we took him down with all 5 of us up. But with the end of the Evergrowth by the colossals , life had a chance to thrive on Draenor once more, and the remains of Botaan became forests that teemed with Spirit and accelerated the development of new species.

The first to arise were enormous creatures with extraordinary power over the land: some tapped into the power of nature , some the elements , and others the Light and Void. Yet survival was a challenge because of the Primals and Breakers , and winged species proved to be most suited to thrive on Draenor for they could fly out of reach of both forces.

Most of Draenor's avians developed in a region called Arak , dominated by a massive spire that towered over dense woods. Three godlike creatures who took form in Arak were Anzu, Rukhmar , and Sethe. Anzu was much smaller than Rukhmar or Sethe. What he lacked in physical power, he made up for with a keen intellect.

Ever curious, Anzu investigated the ley lines that crisscrossed the world and discovered arcane magic. For ages, the three largely kept to themselves, fighting off attacks from Primals and Breakers. Only Anzu dreamed of a better world for him and his feathered kin. He called on Rukhmar and Sethe to work together to transform Arak into a sanctuary for winged creatures of all kinds. As one, Anzu and his allies drove the children of stone and root from Arak.

With the Primals and Breakers gone, Arak became a haven for winged species. Anzu, Rukhmar, and Sethe settled in as caretakers of the land and its varied species. Anzu watched over the multitude of lesser ravens that lived throughout Arak. He frequented the forest canopies below the spire.
